Long Bio
Zachary Lewinson is a multi-instrumentalist from Brampton, Ontario. He channels his love for music through composing, arranging and performing works in the styles of modern R&B/ Soul bands like Lawrence and Vulfpeck while also paying homage to the Jazz roots that music came from.
During his time studying percussion at Humber College, he studied under jazz giants like Larnell Lewis and Mark Kelso and acquired many skills that allow him to create arrangements, lead a band, and produce a recording along the way. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Zach has been putting his education into practice by creating remote recordings of arrangements and compositions he has made. His Instagram has become a place where he can share these collaborations and engage with his audience as he continues to grow on his musical journey.
Following his graduation from Humber, he has continued to further his development as a supporting musician, producer and, a group leader by joining the Canadian Musicians Co-Operative. Here he has learned valuable skills while performing weekly online solo performances, creating demos for other artists, and preparing for a showcase-style tour.
